Lokta paper notebooks are handmade in the Himalayan sunshine and fresh mountain air. Compressed from the pulp of the indigenous lokta bush, which is harvested & pruned by hand every year. For over 1500 years this paper has been made in the mountain areas of Nepal and the oldest Buddhist manuscripts are written on this long-lasting handmade paper. Printed with silkscreen techniques, using natural dyes, the paper is completely environmentally friendly. The fusion of modern urban design and this ancient art of papermaking creates a timeless, joyful and durable product!
